Reflections of our Year

Friends and Family it's that wonderful time of the year when we all seem to take a glance at the past and give each other a glimpse of what has been happening in our lives. As I sit here pondering this past year and all that has taken place, I feel compelled to give you a window into my heart as the Wife and Mother of this great big family of ours. When I look back over the days and months that have passed by, I can't just go back to January 2010 to fully give you a picture of the Grace that God has shed on our family this year.

As many of you know, we had to come off the road back in 2008 because of financial difficulties. We settled in WA. State where my husband was able to get a job, and we began to pray about what God would have us to do next. This was a very difficult time as our hearts were torn from not being in full time ministry any more, We Praise The Lord that we were able to plant ourselves in The Calvary Baptist Church of Roy, WA. We were there for about 5 months when The Lord began to work on our hearts about surrendering to plant a church in Indio, CA. During this time we were able to move to a temporary home of some very dear friends in the Church. This meant another move for our family and it just happened to be that I was pregnant with our ninth child during this move, but we did it and it was a huge blessing to our family! In May of 2010 we found out two things, first, we found out that our son Haden was having seizures and would need a repeat MRI to find out if the spot that they found on his brain was a tumor or just a birth defect. And Secondly we found out that we would need to move yet again (this would be the third move since coming off the road)

It's amazing the Grace that God gives exactly when we need it because at this time I wanted to be stressed and scared but God gave such peace! We were offered another place to live in another beautiful home, in Poulsbo, WA. The Bible Baptist Church had a parsonage that they allowed us to live in while we helped in the church. We lived there for about 4 months, during this time Haden was able to get his MRI. We found out that the spot on Haden's brain had not grown but they do want to repeat the MRI in a year. We Praise The Lord for His watch care over him. Mackenzie also graduated from High School during that time, Congratulations to her and to me since I home schooled her!! ☺ In September of this year we packed up again and moved to California, not knowing where we were going to live, we thought it best for me to come down with some of the kids to find us a place to live. The very weekend that we were moving we found out that my parents would be coming down as well to start a church in Redlands, CA. and to make a long story short we are now living in a home with them in Desert Hot Springs, CA. This is a temporary place for us until we can get a place in Indio. Trying to rent a house with 9 children is a little harder that you may imagine. ☹ We are praying that we would be able to buy something, We will see how God works that out. Our prayer is that by March we can start having services.✞

So here we are in December at the threshold of a new year and at the threshold of a "new life" for our family. Yes, there have been tears, anxieties, moments of despair but when it all boils down I can say with Joy in my heart that God has been sooooo good to us! We pray that you had a blessed year. We want to wish you a Very Merry Christmas. We pray that Christ is the center of your life and that your New Year is surrounded by His blessings!

Time just seems to go by so fast that this blog has taken a back burner to my life and though I'm not sure any one even checks it any more, I thought I would give an update anyway.
The top of my list right now is the health of our youngest son, Haden Luke, he is 7 mos. old and is such a joy to our family. Last week he was diagnosed with Epilepsy, at this time we are not sure what is causing it so they are doing a routine MRI to try to find out the cause. Please pray that it, is not a tumor causing this. He has had 2 seizures that we know of and we are praying that he has no more. We covet your prayers!

On a happier note:

Justina turned Sweet 16 and was spoiled to the hilt!!! She got to go to a concert and out to dinner with her Aunt Sileena and Uncle Matt and then she had a huge "Masquerade Party" and was showered with lots and lots of gifts!!!

Jon finished his B.A. and graduated last month from Salt Lake City Baptist Bible College. We are praying that God will allow us to start a church in Indio, CA. Currently we need something to get the family around in (like an RV) so that we can go on deputation to try to raise funds. As you know my father started a church in Cathedral City and we had a hand in helping with that church, as a result God has given us a burden for that valley. Please pray that a door will be opened for us to act on the burden that is in our hearts.

Mackenzie is wrapping up her Senior year of High School and we are so proud of her! Here is an announcement for you to come celebrate with us!

If I had to describe this year in a nutshell it would be “emotional Rollercoaster”!!! We moved twice, we went from being “in the ministry” to being “out of the ministry” We had a Baby, and our oldest child entered into her Senior Year of High School!! And now after much prayer we are looking to start a church in Indio, CA. the Fall of 2010, as soon as The Lord opens the doors for it to happen. Now do you have some understanding of why I say “Emotional Rollercoaster”?

Speaking of having a Baby, Haden Luke Knouf was born September 22, he weighed 11#’s 12oz.!!!!! He is a wonderful addition to our ever growing family!! The adjustment to nine children has been the hardest on the 2yr old, Mia. She was not quite ready to give up her “baby” status. She is finally giving into it, since she sees that we plan on keeping him. :0)

Mackenzie is in her Senior year and her Mom and Dad can’t seem to figure out how the time went by so fast! She is looking at going to Heartland Baptist or West Coast Baptist next year but still praying. Justina is in her Sophomore year of H.S. and is a “second mom” to Mia. Nolan is thirteen and has grown out of all his clothes twice this year, He is as tall as his Dad. Hailey is growing up so fast, she is now out of the “little kids” status and wants to be a “teen” a little too much. :0) Noah is in the “how much can I annoy my siblings stage” and is officially the middle child now. Levi and Logan are twins (at least that is what Logan thinks) and they love to “rough house” and pretty much do everything together including driving their mother just a little crazy at times. Mia is your all around typical 2yr old, you know, what’s hers is hers and what’s mine is hers and if she had it and put it down well it’s still hers so the “twins” have learned that to keep peace in the family………….I’ll just leave that for you to finish. LOL

The Mom and Dad of these great kids are busy as you might imagine, Pam is busy trying to home school and deal with a newborn along with the drama that can take place in a family that is, lets just say “together a lot” But she loves what she does and wouldn’t trade it for anything!! Jon is working for Medo Sweet Farms Delivering Milk and Dairy products to Downtown Seattle. He is praying that the Lord will open the door for us to get that church started and Asks that you will pray for us also.

Lately Logan has been coming up with some funny things and I thought I would share them with you.

Recently He wanted to go with me to the Doctor and so we were sitting in the waiting room and He saw a Magazine with a women in a bikini and he said to me "Mom, close your eyes"

He came in from outside and told his Grandpa, "Grandpa, I just broke a bee and I sawed his heart"

The kids were going to sing at church and so I was explaining to them that there would not be enough Mic's for everyone to have their own so I didn't want anyone getting upset if they didn't get to hold a mic so Logan says "OK Mom" Then he says to his brothers and Sisters "Nobody take MY mic"

It is fun being a mom, I wouldn't trade my job for any job in the world! It is nice to have a break every now and then. My wonderful Mother so graciously volunteered to take ALL the kids Monday night and Tuesday night while Jon was off work so we spent two days at home with no kids! I have to admit that it was a little eerie being here without them but we made the best of it! :-)

Nolan and Mackenzie and Justina are all going to a" Formal " tonight. The girls are so excited about getting to wear their formal dresses that they wore in NYC when we went to the "Mary Poppins Broadway show" The Lord has been working it out for them to go to all the Church activities, which has been such a blessing for them!

Blogging has taken a back burner in my mind and I have to admit as far as keeping up with news from friends I have found that Facebook is an easy way to find out what every one is up too, and to give a short and to the point fact of what is going on in my life also. Those of you who know me, know that I like short and to the point. So you could see how FB works great for me. Nonetheless I do feel somewhat compelled to give a more in depth explanation of our life and circumstances. I am not even sure any one reads this anymore since I don't post very often but here it goes anyway.
I am reluctant to share my heart with you simply because I don't want to sound like a complainer, but I wanted to give an idea of the inner struggle that it has been going on these past 7 mos. First of all I want to say that it has been a very hard, heart wrenching time not being in full time ministry. The Ministry is where our hearts are, but at this time God has placed us in this situation and it has been very hard to adjust to the fact that we have no idea where God is going to use us or at times I have to admit I have had doubts that He would even use us at all again in a full time manner. That is a hard pill to swallow when your heart is in serving the Lord. Now don't get me wrong, we are serving at Calvary Baptist in Roy but it is far different than having your own ministry. I kind of feel a little bit like the children of Israel must have felt in the desert waiting for the Lord to reveal where He was taking them. As humans we want an answer now, we don't like to wait but The Lord does not work that way. As a matter of fact He seems to like to wait to the very last minute, kind of like the song 4 days late.
Not only has this been a spiritual battle field for us but it has also been a real rough battle financially. Let me say that I would pick financial troubles over the troubles that many friends are going through, Loosing family members to death, praying that God would spare the life of your child, life threatening illnesses, having a spouse leave you after years of marriage, yes I know that there are far worse things than financial hardship.
Nonetheless these past 7 mos. have been the worse we have ever experienced financially. I am talking about times when we were not sure if we would have food to feed us, times when we didn't know if we were going to be homeless. Not to mention the times when you can't even buy new socks let alone new clothes. Times when you don't know if your kids can go to a youth activity because it cost $10, $5 or even the $3 dollars. Times when you don't want to be asked to go to anything cuz you don't want to admit that you can't afford it. Then you have the society that we live in and the judges that seem to think that if you had your head screwed on straight you wouldn't have had so many children and then you could take care of the ones you should've had. Times when you can't rent something in your budget because there is nothing to rent that is "in your budget" because you have more people in your family than they will allow to live in their home. Knowing that if you talk to friends and family about your problems then it puts pressure on them to try to help, so you try not to say anything to anyone. That is hard. We all like to have some one to talk too!
Then there has been the new life that is growing in me, and yes our hearts are thrilled to welcome a new member into our family! However, this has been one of my worse pregnancies as far as feeling sick all the time, Thankfully it seems to be over now that I have moved into my 2nd trimester. I have to admit the thoughts of what others may be thinking seems to haunt my mind these days, I am usually one that does not care what others think if I know I am doing the right thing but given the wringer that I feel like I have been through emotionally and the raging hormones everything seems to come to my mind these days.
I want to say that in ALL those times God has stepped in and He has proven that He will always provide Our needs according to His riches, was it easy to go through, no. As fleshly beings we get our eyes off the Lord and onto our problems and as the children of Israel we forget all too easy the Mighty things that The Lord has done. Oh how wonderful Heaven will be!
With all that said, I PTL that things seem to be moving to a better more positive outlook! So if you think about us, keep us in your Prayers and we will do the same for you!

TRAVIS FAMILY UPDATE
We are truly sorry that we have to report that Esther's Cancer has returned and is progressing very rapidly. We had a series of tests run in December, just before Christmas that showed the cancer was beginning to grow again. At that time it looked like we might be able to operate, remove the cancer and treat her with radiation therapy, here in India. The surgery was scheduled for the 2nd week in January. Esther and I went back to Delhi for the surgery this last week, but the follow up scan prior to surgery showed that the cancer had started growing in some of her bones as well, which means that most likely her cancer is also in her bone marrow. This makes surgery an inadequate solution, since the cancer is not confined to one location. It looks like chemotherapy is the only option we have at this point. While India does have cancer treatment centers, they cannot give the same standard of care that is available in the states. In addition, since Esther had life threatening complications due to the chemo used in her stem cell transplant, her doctor here recommended we take her back to the states.
I think it would be good for me to explain that Esther's cancer has a very low cure rate. The majority of the children that we know, who have had this particular type of cancer do not live very long after they relapse, since the cancer develops a resistance to chemotherapy drugs. We should know fairly quickly after she begins treatment again, if the cancer has become resistant to the chemo or not. Because of the way the cancer appears to be spreading we are coming home immediately. We have every intention of returning to India and resuming the work which God has called us to just as soon as we can. We are still going to maintain our residence here in India for the time being. We have had some good seeds planted here and some exciting things were beginning to take place. We are looking to the Lord for His guidance and wisdom.

Ok, I know it has been toooooooo long since my last post, but life has been very busy and for some reason, (maybe 8 kids and a husband) I haven't had the chance to update you! Rest assured that Life is Grand for us Knouf's and God is Good! We have had a lot of fun to top it all off so here are some pics to give you some idea of what we have been up too!

Yes, We are loving, living in a house!!! As to what God has planned for us? When we know what is next we will be sure to let you know(smile) But in the mean time we are serving the Lord at Calvary Baptist Church in Roy, WA. We continue to covet your Prayers as we endevour to pay off some bills and seek the Lords Face as to What He wants for us to be doing!

We are renting a HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!! We get to move in saturday! Here is the add:

This gorgeous home has LOTS OF ROOM TO SPREAD OUT!!! 4 bedrooms plus an Office/ Den downstairs. Open and airy floor plan, 2.5 bathrooms and huge bonus room for kids playroom, exercise room or ?? New wood floors, carpet and paint. Formal living Room with Gas Fireplace and HUGE dining room. LARGE pantry and laundry room. Master has 2 walk in closets and bath with soaking tub and vanity area. Playing the game of Life isn't always "fun" is it? Well to bring you up to date on our ever adventurous life, I will start with We are in Washington State now so We have travelled the USA from coast to coast and then some.

It is so strange when a curve ball is sent your way and your life seems turned upside down. That is how I feel and I don't really know how to put it to words, except to say that my head is spinning at how fast our lives have changed over the past two months!

We were in Ohio state when we heard the news that My brother and his family were moving to WA and the Church in Cathedral City would need some one to fill in until they found a pastor. The Lord laid it on Jon and my heart to do a complete 180 and change our plans and go try to be a blessing to BBC, we drove straight there, Jon barely let us get out to walk, :0) and we made it in 4 days. We were welcomed back to August in the desert, triple digits! Jon caved up the RV and made it more tolerable to live in. The kids were all happy to get to see friends and it was great to be back at BBC. Jon tried to find a job, but was unable and since we depleted all resources just to get back we had to make a decision of what to do.

The Church is able to have preachers come from West Coast Baptist College to preach the services for them, so through Godly council we decided to come to the State of Washington and we are taking 6 months to pay some bills and see what God has in store for us. We need your prayers! Jon did get a job, He started today, PTL for that! We love being in the ministry so Please keep us in your Prayers! Thank You!!!

this past weekend! It was fun catching up on our friendships and for some of the kids making “new” friends . They were such a blessing to us, Carol has been a great friend for over 2o yrs. and has inspired me in many ways, it is a blessing to have those kinds of friends! We saw them about 3 yrs ago and took pictures of all the kids, so I thought it would be fun to have a little blast from the past!

Our Missions Trip

The trip went well, with a few bumps in the rode. One bump was that I fell on the side walk while holding Mia, I hurt my right elbow pretty bad, I still can’t rest it on anything or pain will shoot up my arm! PTL it wasn’t any worse, Mia did get her feet scraped up , which was kind of weird but I am glad she didn’t hit her head.

On Sunday it took Jon forever to find a parking spot, he finally got one about a mile and a half away from the church.

Those were some of the “bumps” It was kind of a unique trip in that the church is located in “Brighton Beach” which is in Brooklyn NY which is also right down the street from Coney Island. It was pretty neat driving there each day. We had to drive through the Holland tunnel and then through lower Manhattan then through the Battery Tunnel and into Brooklyn. While I said it was kind of fun, it was also very expensive, TOLLS! One day we missed our turn and so we ended up driving over the Brooklyn Bridge, another day we took the wrong turn and ended up on Staten Is. So we got to cross that bridge, then I decided to jump out of the van in Manhattan and do some shopping with my Mom and Dad so I left Jon on his own to get home, (I am his Navigator) well he knew how to get home but the Holland Tunnel was closed so I had to try and navigate him to the Lincoln Tunnel on the phone, boy was that fun! They got home a few minutes before we did, We took the Path train after doing a little shopping, they were in the Van driving ;0{

But the good news is we can pretty much drive to most places in the city :-)

We loved passing out Bibles to the Jewish people, it was such a blessing being able to see their faces when we told them they were free! The Bibles we gave out were Russian and Hebrew Bibles and they were very nice. We also handed out flyers for the “I Love Israel Sunday” and tracts as well. We did that for three days as well as having meeting to help us understand the Jewish customs and to know how to better witness to them. We also sang on the streets and in the meetings. The kids loved passing out the Bibles and being a witness, it was a blessing seeing them try to learn some Russian words so that they could be more effective in reaching them. It was a joy to see people come on Sunday, you see, a good percentage of the people you try to give any thing too will not take it. A lot of them believe that b/c we are “Christian” we are part of those that persecuted them “Roman Catholics, are considered to be “Christian”” so it wasn’t a big surprise that many would not even look at us, they are a very solemn people and if they new someone that was taking a Bible from us they would tell that person to give it back because we are not one of “them” On Sunday they were trying to keep people from going up to the meeting, telling them to go home… But Praise The Lord we were able to give out hundreds of Bibles and thousands of flyers and of course many heard the Gospel Message, very Clear.

We also enjoyed spending some time with Grandma and Grandpa, they actually stayed in our RV with us! That was interesting to say the least! In total Grandpa was with us for 2 weeks and Grandma stayed on an extra week, the time just flew by we were so busy the whole time they were here, that we could not believe it was over when they left. We spent time in NYC, then we went to Atlantic City, and then into Philly and then back to NYC and then on to the “Missions Trip”
We are a very close family if you didn’t already know that, so it is very hard to be a way from our loved ones, so needless to say we were a little down when it was all over! Yes, We miss them, A LOT! Hope you enjoy the Pic’s!!

A Night they will remember for a life time

I have always dreamed of going to see a “Broadway Show” but of course it had to be a “Clean” one so that narrowed down the options. When I turned 40 my Loving husband told me to start looking for tickets so that we could go when we went to NY in July, so being the submissive wife that I am, I did just that! ~big grin~ Even though the tickets were in the nose bleed section, (only $30 each) it was good enough for me, after all I just wanted to go. Well this turned into my beautiful daughters then planning to have their own NY experience and from that point it was all about getting those girls their, “Night to Remember” which included shopping for formal dresses, shoes…. Now they were willing to pay for all that stuff, BUT I am not a shopper when it comes to teenagers and how picky they are (smile) I have to admit, it was actually easy, we went to a Good will and found both dresses for less than $30!!!! Now to make this night happen, Grandma and Grandpa had to come all the way from Washington State so that we would have a babysitter for the night. Lol OK, so they didn’t come to just baby-sit, but it was a blessing being able to go enjoy the show with just My husband and My teen age daughters. Grandma and Grandpa and Hailey, Noah and Nolan all went to see “Mary Poppins” the day before so they were not “left out” ~smile~
Well, I think the night was a success, it was a blast and Mackenzie and Justina had such a great time! The night was topped off when a little girl ran up to Justina and asked if she could shake her hand, because she “had not ever met a real life NYC Princess” I am telling you, Justina was on cloud 9 for the rest of the night ! Of course, We had fun too! And my dream was fulfilled too ;0)

Our Precious “Joy Girl”
One Year ago, we had the privilege and honor to welcome yet another of God’s special blessings into our lives and home.

Mia Joy Knouf has been such a “Joy” to our family and it has been so much fun seeing all the changes she has gone through this past year. It is hard to believe that I had such a hard time nursing her and now would you believe that is about all she wants, no pacifier or bottle! (that is kind of rough on Mom)
We were also concerned about her weight and now we are calling her “chubby” ;0) God is so good! It is amazing how much a child learns in the first year of life, she is right on the verge of walking, she has taken a couple steps, She stands up in the middle of the floor while holding her baby doll but seems to be content with that.
Speaking of Baby Dolls she is ALL girl, She loves them! But then she also likes to wrestle with Logan and Levi and they love it too! Of course all her brothers and sisters love playing with her, they are so amazed at everything she does. Her vocabulary is dada, bubba, maaa, dat(that) and of course she loves to scream with Logan.
She really enjoyed spending time with her Grandma and Grandpa as they came to visit us while we were in NYC! She is not one to sit in a car seat, as a matter of fact, she hates it, and she doesn’t like her crib much either, But she loves to be free to roam.
We did have to take her off the Monitor, our medical would not cover it since she is over a year old. So she is off the Apnia Monitor, Please pray that she no longer needs it, she never had any Alarms and the last tech that checked her monitor said that she should be off , so that is what we did.
I know it has been a while and I have lots to update on but I wanted to first let you know that our baby is now 1yr old, wow, where did the time go??

Time to fill you in on what has been going on! We Have been in Maryland for about a week but we are currently in New Jersey at Faith Baptist Church of Burlington. We tried to tour D.C. and it wore us out, so we only went one day. The main reason for this Post is to show you the pics of a creature that we had the privilege of meeting! A Green Tree Python named Caliber. We met him when we met Pastor Black and His Wife. The kids loved holding him, but I was not so brave! lol
We had a great Sunday with them and boy did they spoil us!!!! The kids are still telling everyone about the Pastor that took them to Cold Stone and let them get anything they wanted! And Jon still can't believe the steak dinner that he enjoyed Sunday afternoon! We made new friends in Christ and it was a joy to be in their services! The Pictures are not the greatest b/c they are from my Phone. Mia wants you to know that she Misses........................................

Honey and Cinnamon

I found this to be interesting so I wanted to share it!

Please Note before reading this that it is not recommended to give honey to children under 1 yr old!

Also the Honey they are talking about is Raw Honey!

The Cinnamon is not the kind you buy at the Grocery Store(that is actually not true cinnamon if you look, it probably says it comes from Cassia Trees, if so that is not true cinnamon) It has to say Cinnamomum zeylanicum.

It is found that a mixture of Honey and Cinnamon cures most of the diseases. Honey is produced in most of the countries of the world. Ayurvedic as well as Yunani medicine have been using honey as a vital medicine for centuries. Scientists of today also accept honey as a very effective medicine for all kinds of diseases. Honey can be used without any side effects for any kind of diseases. Today's science says that even though honey is sweet, if taken in the right dosage as a medicine, it does not harm diabetic patients.Weekly World News, a magazine in Canada, on its issue dated 17 January, 1995 has given the following list of diseases that can be cured by Honey and Cinnamon as researched by western scientists.

HEART DISEASES: Make a paste of honey and cinnamon powder, apply on bread, chappati, or other bread, instead of jelly and jam and eat it regularly for breakfast. It reduces the cholesterol in the arteries and saves the patient from heart attack. Also those who already had an attack, if they do this process daily, they are kept miles away from the next attack.Regular use of the above process relieves loss of breath and strengthens the heartbeat. In America and Canada, various nursing homes have treated patients successfully and have found that as age the arteries and veins lose their flexibility and get clogged; honey and cinnamon revitalizes the arteries and veins.

INSECT BITES: Take one part honey to two parts of lukewarm water and add a small teaspoon of cinnamon powder, make a paste and massage it on the itching part of the body slowly. It is noticed that the pain recedes within a minute or two.

ARTHRITIS: Arthritis patients may take daily, morning and night, one cup of hot water with two spoons of honey and one small teaspoon of cinnamon powder. If taken regularly even chronic arthritis can be cured.In a recent research conducted at the Copenhagen University, it was found that when the doctors treated their patients with a mixture of one tablespoon Honey and half teaspoon Cinnamon powder before breakfast, they found that within a week out of the 200 people so treated practically 73 patients were totally relieved of pain and within a month, mostly all the patients who could not walk or move around because of arthritis started walking without pain.

HAIR LOSS: Those suffering from hair loss or baldness, may apply a paste of hot olive oil, one tablespoon of honey, one teaspoon of cinnamon powder before bath and keep it for approx. 15 min. and then wash the hair. It was found to be effective even if kept on for 5 minutes.

BLADDER INFECTIONS: Take two tablespoons of cinnamon powder and one teaspoon of honey in a glass of lukewarm water and drink it. It destroys the germs in the bladder.

TOOTHACHE: Make a paste of one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and five teaspoons of honey and apply on the aching tooth. This may be applied 3 times a day till the tooth stops aching.

CHOLESTEROL: Two tablespoons of honey and three teaspoons of Cinnamon Powdermixed in 16 ounces of tea water, given to a cholesterol patient, was found toreduce the level of cholesterol in the blood by 10% within 2 hours. As mentioned for arthritic patients, if taken 3 times a day, any Chronic cholesterol is cured. As per information received in the said journal, pure honey taken with food daily relieves complaints of cholesterol.

COLDS: Those suffering from common or severe colds should take one tablespoon lukewarm honey with 1/4 spoon cinnamon powder daily for 3 days. This process will cure most chronic cough, cold and clear the sinuses.

INFERTILITY: Yunani and Ayurvedic Medicine have been using honey for thousands of years to strengthen the semen of men. If impotent men regularly take two tablespoon of honey before going to sleep, their problem will be solved.In China, Japan and Far-East countries, women, who do not conceive and need to strengthen the uterus, have been taking cinnamon powder for centuries. Women whocannot conceive may take a pinch of cinnamon powder in half teaspoon of honeyand apply it on the gums frequently throughout the day, so that it slowly mixes with the saliva and enters the body.A couple in Maryland, USA, had no children for 14 years and had lost hope of having a child of their own. When told about this process, husband and wife started taking honey and cinnamon as stated above; the wife conceived after a few months and had twins at full term.

UPSET STOMACH: Honey taken with cinnamon powder cures stomachache and also clears stomach ulcers from the root

.GAS: According to the studies done in India & Japan, it is revealed that if honey is taken with cinnamon powder the stomach is relieved of gas.

IMMUNE SYSTEM: Daily use of honey and cinnamon powder strengthens the immune system and protects the body from bacteria and viral attacks. Scientists have found that honey has various vitamins and iron in large amounts. Constant use of honey strengthens the white blood corpuscles to fight bacteria and viral diseases.

INDIGESTION: Cinnamon powder sprinkled on two tablespoons of honey taken before food, relieves acidity and digests the heaviest of meals.

INFLUENZA: A scientist in Spain has proved that honey contains a natural ingredient, which kills the influenza germs and saves the patient from flu.

LONGEVITY: Tea made with honey and cinnamon powder, when taken regularly arrests the ravages of old age. Take 4 spoons of honey, 1 spoon of cinnamon powder and 3 cups of water and boil to make like tea. Drink 1/4 cup, 3 to 4 times a day. It keeps the skin fresh and soft and arrests old age.Life spans also increases and even a 100 year old, starts performing the chores of a 20-year-old.

PIMPLES: Three tablespoons of Honey and one teaspoon of cinnamon powder paste. Apply this paste on the pimples before sleeping and wash it next morning with warm water. If done daily for two weeks, it removes pimples from the root.

SKIN INFECTIONS: Applying honey and cinnamon powder in equal parts on the affected parts cures eczema, ringworm and all types of skin infections.

CANCER: Recent research in Japan and Australia has revealed that advanced cancer of the stomach and bones have been cured successfully. Patients suffering from these kinds of cancer should daily take one tablespoon of honey with one teaspoon of cinnamon powder for one month 3 times a day.

FATIGUE: Recent studies have shown that the sugar content of honey is more helpful rather than being detrimental to the strength of the body. Senior citizens, who take honey and cinnamon power in equal parts, are more alert and flexible.Dr. Milton who has done research says that a half tablespoon honey taken in a glass of water and sprinkled with cinnamon powder, taken daily after brushing and in the afternoon at about 3.00 p.m. when the vitality of the body starts to decrease, increases the vitality of the body within a week.

BAD BREATH: People of South America, first thing in the morning gargle with one teaspoon of honey and cinnamon powder mixed in hot water. So their breath stays fresh throughout the day.

HEARING LOSS: Daily morning and night honey and cinnamon powder taken in equal parts restore hearing.

*NOTE:The honey used needs to be REAL RAW UNPASTEURIZED HONEY. If it says PURE honey it is most likely pasteurized. It is best to only buy honey that says RAW or UNPASTEURIZED on the label. The difference is that the enzymes are all heated out of the pasteurized honey.
Cinnamon and Honey formula for weight loss:This should be prepared at night before going to bed.1. Use 1 part cinnamon to 2 parts raw honey. 1/2 tsp cinnamon to 1 tsp honey is recommended but can use more or less as long as in the ratio of 1 to 2. --- so 1 tsp cinnamon to 2 tsp raw honey is ok too as an example.2. Boil 1 cup...that is 8 oz of water.3. Pour water over cinnamon and cover and let it steep for 1/2 hour..(30 minutes)4. Add honey now that it has cooled. Never add honey when it is hot as the heat will destroy the enzymes and other nutrients in the raw honey.5. Drink 1/2 of this directly before going to bed. The other 1/2 should be covered and refrigerated.6. In the morning drink the other half that you refirgerated...but do not re-heat it...drink it cold or at room temp only.Do not add anything else to this recipe. No lemon, no lime, no vinegar. It is not necessary to drink it more time in a day...it is only effective on an empty stomach and primarily at night.This works for most people. Inches are lost before any measurement on the scales. This program will cause significant inches lost...but you will reach a plateau and may not lose anymore. This is because the cinnamon and honey cause a cleansing effect in the digestive tract and cleans out parasites and other fungus and bacteria that slow down the digestion...causing a toxic build up. (Lowers pH) Once this is all cleaned out then you will most likely have the weight loss slow down.Other side effects from a cleansing can occur because of toxins being released...if this occurs, cut back on how much you use or take a break.Additionally people report increased energy, more sex drive, and feeling happier/mood enhancer.

This is one of those Posts that I have so much to say but I doubt I will get to put it all down in words. Right now I am at Chuck E Cheese, and I am here, not because I want to treat my kids to something special, I am here because I NEED SPACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The RV is being worked on and Jon is staying with the RV which left me with the task of entertaining 8 children for who knows how long, when it is HOT and MUGGY out side! So for lack of any thing else coming to my mind and a coupon for tokens we landed here. Now normally I would enjoy being nice to my children, but at the present time, I feel as if we are on overload with giving giving and then giving to them and frankly they haven't ALL ( some but not ALL) have shown little gratitude for our generosity to them. BUT I also need to point out that I am having a little Cabin Fever, I guess, What I want right now is to be in a house that has a room with a door on it and a lock and be able to go into that room knowing that they are all safe and sound on the other side of that door and SLEEP! After sleeping I would like to have some (alone) time(what ever that is) then after that (alone) time I might want to let my husband in the room and then after a day or two or three I might be ready to start letting in some children ~smile~

Jon, my beloved husband, has a special nak at some how escaping a good chunk of life with all eight children, if he spent the time I do, well, let's just say I'll let you surmise~smirky smile~

Which brings me to my Post, We have had RV problems this week. PTL it has so far all been covered by warranties but we have had to "kill" 4 days now as a result and that would be fun if we had lots of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ but we spent all that the prior weeks at Disney World!

I am worn out from that and drained from the heat and since we have no friends or relatives around here, so we are kind of stuck! Just pray for my sanity! I think it will be fixed today, Please Pray! News Flash "Jon just called and said it will not be done until MAYBE Monday! Good news we can stay in it until it is done!

I also have a tooth ache which adds to my shortness of Patience. Waking up multiple times a night also adds to it, thanks to my darling little 10 mos. old and on occasion lately my 3 yr old.

I do have to tell you a funny story now that I vented, I feel much better!lol We were on the Jungle Cruise and Jon and I were wearing our Happy Anniversary pins and the driver said oh how cute, Happy Anniversary, so what did you do for her, looking at Jon, he looked at me so I would answer for him and I said He took me out to eat at Applebees, She said Wow So on the 2oth are you gonna take her to "Taco Bell?" Huge lol! Now to take up for him, our 17 fell on Father's day and we had some sick kids so we wanted to stay close by just in case Mackenzie needed us to come home. BUT we did get a good laugh from that one!

We are in Florida during Hurricane Season and almost everyday it will suddenly start raining but it only last for a short time. And the Lightning shows have been amazing here!

I had to jump into the Pool Yesterday fully clothed and ready for the day, because Logan decided to go in the Pool with no floaties on, Scared me to death and got the adrenaline pumping! He was swimming but he holds his breath and doesn't know how to come up for air!

After that episode we went to lunch and He spilled pop on my fresh set of clothes.

Finally, A moment of time on the computer without having to be doing some kind of work!! YA!
We have been on vacation while Jon attends a convention here in Florida. The Lord worked it out for us to stay planted in an RV Park for almost a month long! Wooooo hoooo it has been good for us and would you believe that a Fundamental Independent Bible Believing King James ONLY Baptist Church is meeting here at the RV Park?? Well ya better believe it cuz it is (wink) any how we have been able to be in their services, they have enjoyed the boost in their attendance lol and we have enjoyed having a church so close! They also have a gal in the church that works for you know that place that put Orlando on the map, any how we scored some free passes and her employee discount so that has been a big blessing for our children and has been exhausting for Jon and I, LOL I have to admit has also been a lot of fun!
I have missed out on updating everyone and sending Pictures so I am going to post those pics that I missed and try to update you on our happenings.

We have a new pet, if you want to call it that. This is the first time Jon was with the kids with trying to convince me that they should keep it. I have to admit that it is low maintenance and kind of cool to watch it eat, but if it ever got loose, I would not be too happy! What is it, A Corn Snake, they found it at the RV Park we are staying at!

Mia, is growing like a weed and seems to do new stuff daily, we all have been enjoying her learn to crawl, sit up and pull her self up she also has 8 weapons in her mouth and she knows how to use them {smile} Jon built her a bed, it is at the dinette and it is working out sooooooo Wonderful! It is so nice to have our bed back!

Please keep her in your prayers! She has had one virus after the next. I am trying to get her immune system built up. She is a very finicky eater, so that doesn’t help! I think she is our first child that I can carry around and not break my back doing it, she only weighs 17#’s .

Tomorrow We celebrate Father’s Day and Our 17th Wedding Anniversary! It is hard to believe that it has been 17 yrs. Lori Petrick gave us a series of books that deal with divine betrothal and after reading them It brought Joy to my heart to know that I had a divine betrothal. They are great books and I would recommend that if you have kids 10 and up they should read them! They are written by Sarah Lynn Shade and they are fictional but based on bible truths, Mackenzie, Justina and I Loved reading them! Any how we have had that kind of Marriage and I Praise The Lord for It! I also Praise The Lord for a husband that is also a great Father! I Love You, Jon!! Happy Anniversary and Fathers Day!

Speaking of Fathers, I have One of The Best! He is Also a Wonderful Grandpa, it has been so neat to see my kids getting to have fun with their Grandpa and having a special relationship with him. Dad I Love You and Miss You Dearly!
We leave Fl. On the 23rd and we head up toward D.C. where we will celebrate our Nations Freedom on July 4th at the Capitol, Wow will that be cool or what?
Speaking of cool, it has not been that at all, humid and hot but I have been tolerating it better than I thought I would!
Well that is going to have to sum it up because my time has expired. There have been many Post that I would have loved to expound on but my life doesn’t allow that right now, so until then…….

My New Gaget!

Well it has been a while and it will probably be this way for longer then I think, Having eight children has been I think our biggest adjustment thus far!!!!! Not to mention the last two are spoiled rotten! Plus I rarely get time on the computer and when I do, I have to use the time for useful stuff!(imagine that)
Any how that brings me to my title, I got the best little gaget for Mothers Day! I have been really enjoying it, I can post to my blog, email, text, Map it, surf the Internet, check the weather, listen to my music , calculate, take pic's and oh ya, I can call someone ! I'm telling you I'm not one that has to have the newest technology but this thing is great!!! What is it??? It is an iPhone. Thank you to my Loving Husband I love it!
I had a great Mothers Day but It was sad not being with my Mom, I miss her so much!
We have enjoyed being with our friends, missionaries to Japan, The Sissons.
We also enjoyed being at Heartland baptist bible college graduation fellowship, the preaching was excellent!

Our Niece Grace graduated Thursday and then got Married on Sat. It was a very nice and beautiful ceremony. I will try to Post some pic's later.

We have had our first break down, we had to have the RV towed! PTL. It was covered under warrenty!

MIA has had the flu, she is getting better but she may have an ear infection!
We will be heading to Mobil, Alabamba this week, and then on to Tampa.
We have been spoiled every where we go, We Praise The Lord for how well He is taking care of us!

Hey y'all,
We are in Oklahoma on our way to Dallas and then back to OKC. We have changed our route so we will be heading to Tampa, Fl. The middle of May. Please keep us in your prayers! God has been so good to us we have been getting spoiled by so many pastors, we have also heard some great preaching! Souls have been saved and lives surrender, we saw 5 saved Sunday 4 soldiers and a mother of 3 bus kids! Praise The Lord!
We do miss every one dearly! Send us a line once in a while. The kids are all doing well. Nolan's 12th b-day was yesterday, what in the world are we gonna do with 3 teens in the house, LOL He is becoming quite the young man and his Mom and Dad are so very proud of him, You wouldn't believe how good he is with Mia! He will make a very good Daddy someday!
Speaking of Mia, she is showing signs of being the girliest girl yet! She already plays with dolls! She seems to growing up way to fast! :-(

My Surprise!

My Birthday Surprise
My husband and children and Mother all pulled together to plan a wonderful surprise for me in honor of my 40th, yes I said 40th , I know I don’t look a year past 29 but it is true, I must admit, I am 40 yrs old now. Do I feel 40? Well that depends on what day you ask me, but for the most part I am still in shock that I am thru my 30’s and how fast it went by!

Back to the Party, It was a great one, I had a blast and I was spoiled and so touched by the Love that everyone showed by coming out to honor ME! ~big Smile~ I received so many wonderful gifts some of which I am glad to say that I do not need as you can see from the Picture below, thanks to my beloved brother, but he was kind enough to put the receipt with it so that I could take it back and get the money, the only thing he didn’t realize is that they don’t like to take back hemorrhoid medication and laxatives back but since I explained that it was a gag gift they went ahead and took it. Whoo hoo!

Any way the gift that topped them all was what my husband got for me! A Pink Sony Cyber shot! Oh, Ya, I love it! I can’t believe how fast it takes pictures.

It was a wonderful evening and I felt soooooooo Loved! Thank you to all of you that came out for it. Thank you for all the wonderful gifts. I have to say a great big thanks to My Husband, My Children and my Mother for all the work and planning that they did for me and for the gifts that meant sooo much. Thank you to my children that spent so much money on me even though I know you can’t afford it to make me feel loved, I truly do!
Thank you to my Mom and Dad who paid my way to the Ladies Conference, It was a blessing to me and my teen girls!
Thank you to My Love for showing me Love through all the gifts that you gave to me, You are such a wonderful husband and a Great Dad and I Love You So Much!

This has been the month of birthday Parties, I will attempt to post some pics of Levi and Logan’s Birthday then of course my birthday and then last night we celebrated Cameron and Justina’s Birthdays at the Mall. It was really Justina’s Party but we threw in a little party for Cameron since his birthday was on the 19th !
They had a bigger and better hunt and it was a fun time for them They actually got some pretty neat things from some of the stores. Justina’s actual Birthday is not until next week so I will try to give her a Post next time, But I want to say right now If I don’t get the time to do it, that I love you! I can’t believe that it has been 14 yrs since you were born and what a lovely young lady you have become you are such a blessing to your Mom and Dad! Happy Birthday!
Well that about wraps up the Parties, no punt intended, ~smile~ but as far as life in general things have been as busy as ever. My Parents sold their house and have to be out of it by next week so we have been trying to be some kind of a help to them and then once they get through all the stress of moving they are leaving for California to be with BBC on their anniversary Sunday so they will not be with us the last two weeks that we are here, ya, that is a bummer! Grandpa missed us the first week that we got here, but we are trying to make the most of the time that we do get with them!

This is going to be a quick note to let you know why I haven't had time to Post. We just finished a Missions Conference a Revival Meeting and a Ladies Spectacular and I am Exhausted! I have to tell you though that each meeting was wonderful and God really spoke to my heart in each one! We are so blessed to get to be a part of so many wonderful meetings. So in the Past 11 days we have heard 29 sermons and on the one day off that we had, guess what we did? Can't guess, well then I will tell you. We had a birthday Party for Logan and Levi, Yes Levi is 5 yrs old and Logan is 3 yrs old. They were blessed to have some one allow us to use their jumper and the church let us use their gym and popcorn maker so they had a regular carnival for their birthday and boy did they have fun! Then to top off the night their cousins came over, Shelby, James, Cameron and Cheyenne! Wow, what a day! I will have to post some pics when I get the time, but right now my wonderful husband is taking me out to dinner for my birthday, and before you ask which one it is, I'm not tellin unless you already know~smile~

Just Because she is so CUTE!

I did not know how to title this Post, it was one of those days that you really never dream of having when you dream about growing up and getting married and having children. Now the day before was one of those dreamy days, You know you all get up and get ready to go see family and have a bar-b-Q and all the kids have a great time playing with their cousins, and as you sit around chit chatting your cousin tells you about this awful food poison that they had a couple days ago, and in your mind you are thinking, “I hope it was really food Poisoning and not the flu, cuz I really don’t want to deal with any kids getting sick” But you shake it off and enjoy the sweet fellowship with your family, especially since you may not see them again for about 10 mos.!

Well we all went home and every things seemed fine and dandy UNTIL Sunday Morning as we were all, almost ready to go to church, I discover that Noah has a High Fever, and Logan says his tummy hurts, so I tell Jon to go ahead and I stayed home with them, but then I start feeling sick and I was REALLY wishing that I had, had one of my older children there to help me! I survived, and when they got home we decided that because we need to get a “new” family portrait done for our “new” prayer cards that we would go ahead and get everyone dressed since the girls had spent “special” time doing their hair a certain way and we were leaving in 3 days so it needed to get done, so we went to Wal Mart and took Pictures. I put some foundation on Levi cuz he looked like scar face from Logan pinching him in the face, and then as we were sitting taking the Pictures we all had the pleasure of smelling Logan’s diaper that we found out later was not staying in the diaper. ~oh, Joy~ at least he was on Jon's Lap ~smile~ The good news is we did get a pretty good picture, thank goodness the medicine kicked in for poor Noah cuz his little cheeks were about as red as an apple just prior to getting there.

I felt like I had a rock in my stomach which I found out later that it had nothing to do with the flu, but was from taking acidophilus pills, THANKS LIZ! Now the sickness that Noah had was what his cousin Kaylyn had the week prior, she had come to spend the night and had to go home early because she came down with a very High fever, that sickness is now lasting for over a week and has gone through Noah, Mia, Logan and Now it looks like Levi has it. ~smile~ Now even though I do not ever want to go through my kids being sick, I know that it is a part of life that we all have to deal with and so I willingly accept it, BUT stop the freight train right there! Let me get back to Sunday Night, I stayed home again with the kids cuz I wasn’t feeling well and now Mia was having fever so Jon took the kids and went to church hoping that at least some of them would be able to sing a special because we were asked to sing that night, That didn’t happen because our sound track Cd’s were missing, it just keeps getting better. Logan begins to fill his diaper again and then again and then it starts coming out of his mouth, again, and then again. Jon comes home late cuz the girls had SNACK at church, oddly enough the snack was hobo soup, you know, every one brings their favorite can of soup or veggies and you put it all together and eat it~ I don’t think after what happened late that night, that Mac and Stina will ever eat that again!
I know you can already surmise as to what happened but I have to tell you that in 15 yrs. Of being a mother, I NEVER dreamed I would ONE be sick my self to the point of not knowing how I could stand up and take care of another human being other than my self and Two have a husband that was sick and you already know that when MEN are sick, they are always sicker than you, so when Jon did get home, He went straight to bed and then third I never thought that I would have 7 out of 8 kids sick all at once!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, you heard me, that is 9 human beings living in a box with one toilet and everyone vomiting or well you know the other option! Thank good ness for taco bell, Del taco and other fast food cups cuz we were all hanging on to them for dear life, the miracle in the whole thing is that everyone except for Logan made it in their cup or in the toilet! I am telling you instead of fire drills we have throw up drills for our kids, and now it really paid off, cuz there was No Way I would have been able to Clean up anything that Night, I would have had to do like I remember seeing when I was about 6 or 7 years old. I was back in Arkansas visiting my Great Grandma and I went to her neighbors house to visit their kids and as I walked through the house I saw puddle after puddle all through the house where they had puked and some one just threw newspaper on top of it, I can’t tell you how horrible it smelt in that house, but I can tell you, I don’t know why I stayed in there and played with their son for a while and yes that is one of those times I had the flu, I wonder where I got it? Any how back to my night of misery, as I had just finished helping Hailey clean her cup up and lay back down, Noah starts in his cup (yes, poor Noah had two sicknesses in one night) and then I go to flush it down the toilet and when I do I hear that all familiar sound , The Black Tank Is Full, Now, I stand there thinking, do I wake up my poor husband who is sick, or do I just wait to see if we can last till morning? If I wait til morning and the tank over flows it will over flow on the top of the RV and will run down the sides of the coach, How do I know this will happen? Been there done that! So, I wake Jon up and let him deal with it! Now I know some of you are thinking that I did have a third option and that was I could have done it myself, well you know how guys are with dishes and laundry and giving the kids a bath, they would be more than willing to do those things but they just don’t know HOW to do them~wink~ That is my excuse ~smile~
Joy comes in the morning, and though it wasn’t gone we felt at least well enough to sit up, Then Nolan woke up from a nice long nights sleep and asked, why is everyone still sleeping, it is 9 o clock? Ya and he still hasn’t got it! My brother called me that morning to see if we had been sick, He was lucky enough to get sick too, but it was just He and Sileena! ~smile~
We wanted to say good bye to the Steve’s but unfortunately they were all sick the day we left, hmmmm, I wonder where they got it? Sorry Chris, We love you guys!

These are Pics of our Previous meeting, and the Pastor and his Wife and their grand daughters that took the girls Shopping. What a Great Sunday we had!

Well we finished an awesome week of Revival, I must say that the Lord touched our hearts every single message was so great! The biggest thing that was preached was how we all need to be broken for the Lord, once we are broken then He can begin to use us. Humility is where we all need to be before the Lord can lift us up, once we pour out our selves then The Lord can use us to the fullest.

I could expound a whole lot more but I am not like Sileena or like Ashleigh who know how to expound on thing so well*smile* I like to just get to the point, even if it may be boring that way. ~grin~

Any how it was a blessing to our Family and The Church took such good care of us, they cooked us meals each day at 4:00 which made it so nice for us to eat early and then go get ready and also gave us time to warm up our voices after eating. At times like these I feel almost guilty that we are so blessed, We are trying so hard to teach our children that God takes care of His own and when we give all to Him we can never go wrong. My heart is Overwhelmed by His goodness in our lives!

We leave Wed. night for Willits, CA. We plan to be back in SO. CA. in December, Lord Willing. So there are a lot of things going through our minds as we think about being so far a way from home

for so long. I think this will be the first year for our children to spend so much time away from Gandma and Grandpa Nolan, and they are already talking about the fact the we will most likely not be spending Thankgiving with them, and that will be a first!

We are looking at our time in NY as our first "Missions trip" as we will be ministering to the Jewish people of the city. Please be in prayer for this. Below you will see the Picture of three of my girls, can you believe this is the first time they have all had the same matching dresses! I was able to find matching ties for all the boys and that was a first time for them but unfortunatly I do not have a pic of it, hopefully tomorrow we have to re do our family portrait for our new prayer cards, oh fun!

Changing the subject totally
I want to know what happened to the good ole days when I could tell my kids we were gonna go some where and I didn't have to give at least an hours notice! I'm tellin you, having two teenage girls in the house has been life changing! I never knew how important it was to make sure you are wearing "just the right clothes or just the right hair doo" and my life is over run with curling irons, hot rollers, make up and blow dryers! AHHHHHHHHH, I am looking forward to Nolan as a teen so that maybe we can quit loosing space, do you know how many shoes they think they need??????? Do you know how hard it is for all of us to get ready at the same time?? Our friends call living in a trailer, rubics cube living, We now are in that phase, living in our motor home, Why? because we have 4 girls! Yes, now when we want to drive the motor home we have to move many things into the van that we didn't use to have to do. I am also amazed at how much luggage a tiny little body can bring into our lives. We decided to get Mia a saucer so that we would have a place for her to safely sit, and well it takes up quite a bit of room, but what do ya do? She is already sooooo spoiled, she thinks she should be held ALL the time!!! And then the extra laundry that a baby brings, I mean their clothes are so small, why am I having to do so much more laundry!???!!! But would I change it? NO! I love my girls and I love that they care about how they look! And I am sooooooooooo glad that I no longer have to go to the LAUNDRY MAT! So when I think I am going a little crazy, I start to think about the fact that I really only have 2 maybe 3 more years with all of our children at home, and that makes me sad! Cuz then I will probably start seeing them moving out about every two years for the next 18yrs. I LOVE being a Wife and a Mother, it is what I always dreamed about doing and what a blessing to get to live out your dreams!!!! Thank You Lord for being soooo good to ME!

Noah had his birthday a week before his dad but I don't have any Pics! He is 7 yrs old now and is, well if you have ever seen Kevin on Home Alone, well he is kind of like Kevin. He is all boy and loves to wrestle with his little bro's but also loves to drive his older sisters nutts! ~smile~ We Love You, Noah! You will notice him above, riding a ride at John's incredible Pizza Co. with his Cuz and other siblings!

What in the World are we doing?

Hello bloggie friends, I truly miss keeping in touch with all of you, but right now LIFE will not allow me the time it takes to be on the computer for hardly any length of time! We are having problems with our internet also so it makes for a very frustrating life when you do so many things online!

ANYHOW enough complaining! We are excited about this year and what it holds, We have a few weeks left in California and then we head up to Northern CA. and then back up to WA to do a missions conf., revival meeting and then some Sunday meetings. After that we are in Idaho and by May we have to be in OK. Our Niece Grace Knouf will be graduating from Heartland Baptist Bible College and Then she will be getting Married all in the same week! WOW! We have a meeting booked in NYC, the end of July, we will be working a week with a ministry reaching the Jewish People of New York City, We are very excited about this, please pray for us, we are having many different doors of opportunity opening to see people getting saved!PTL!
This week we are in Moreno Valley at Lighthouse Baptist Church. We are in a revival meeting, the speaker this week is Dave McCraken.
The kids have been getting the Royal treatment lately. Last week Mackenzie and Justina went shopping with the pastors wife, she took them to buy some new clothes. Hailey got a new outfit too! Today the youth Pastor took all five of the older children to John's Incredible Pizza Co., The Lord has been so good, it is hard on them leaving Our Church and all their friends...... well you know! Pray that God keeps giving us the strength that we need!
Logan was amazed a couple of weeks ago we were in a Korean Church and He could not figure out why he couldn't understand what they were saying. He came up to me in the nursery and said "Mom he said shaaa shaaa meee shaa neee, what is that?" The Pastor's wife tried to tell him what he said, and he came back over to me and said,"Mom, that not what he said" LOL

Hide and Seek in a RV!

Living in a RV has not stopped the kids from finding ways to play, and as you can see Logan found a great place, I would have never found him if his brother had not told me where he was. He was the kid that found a place to hide in the trailer that no one would have ever thought that he could fit, so I guess he has a gift for it.~smile~ Too bad I can't find a place to hide, they always seem to find me,*wink* Only a mom can understand that statement!

The Serious and Lighter side of Life

Ok so I have been out of the bloggy world for a while, and who knows when I will be back to posting more faithfully (is that proper grammar?) but I can't seem to get enough done in my days, I am telling you I feel like my world is spinning and I am not sure how to slow it down! So things like blogging have to be put on the side lines, and boy do I miss it! ~smile~

Going with the title of my post, I have felt a burden to inform you of what has been on my heart, thus the serious side of Life will be first. I have recently found out about 2 situations of Christian Home school families that have allowed their teenage daughters to have a "My Space" page and in both situations the girls have run off with some guy way older than them, now inside I want to scream and yell, WAKE UP PARENTS, you would not allow your child to go to a night club and sit and talk to any Tom, Dick or Harry that walks up to them, but you think it is OK to let them go to their rooms and spend countless hours on the Internet????? Come on, what are you thinking??????? Now that is what I am thinking inside, but of course I wouldn't say that to them. But can I say to any of you that haven't stopped to think about the "New" devises that the devil has to get to our children, that we need to wake up and start thinking. Foolishness is bound in the heart of our children and the rod of correction WILL drive it far from them, some times that "rod" is simply telling them that they are not allowed to get on the Internet unless we are there to supervise, or NO you cannot have a MY SPACE or no you are not allowed to get any emails that I am not allowed to read and NO you cannot text message unless I can read all incoming and out going texts. As Christian Homeschoolers we try our best to keep our kids protected from the "World" but then we allow the worst tool ever invented to be opened to our children, The World Wide Web and then when they run off with some man that is old enough to be their father, we sit and wonder where did we go wrong? Now some of you may think that allowing Mackenzie to have a blog is the same thing as a My space but I monitor all the comments that come in and We don't allow her to post anything unless Jon or I approve it. I know we can't protect our children from everything and we do have to let them spread their wings and fly at one point in their life, but just like the Eagle I am going to try to be there to make sure they can soar with ease until their wings are strong enough to withstand this wicked world that we live in. I know I'm preachin to the choir but I had to vent, and if what I said helped one person, well then it would be worth it! So thanks for allowing me to "vent"~grin~

Now to the lighter side of life, I have to catch up on some of the "funny" things that my kids have been saying or doing.

We will start with Logan, He was at the doctors with all his brothers and sisters and oddly enough they all were due for a vaccination shot, so we lined them up oldest to youngest and we said "lets see who can Not cry for their shot" So we went down the line and got to Levi, He didn't care that NO one else cried, he was gonna cry, So when Logan got up on the table he said to the Nurse"See, I not cry" Then she stuck him in the arm and you should of heard him CRY! lol

then when the doctor was checking his ears a couple weeks later he looked at her and said "ok, that's all don't do that again!"
then last week when I found out that my photographer at the big shopping center that we all love to get good deals at would not be able to give me the same discount that she usually gives me on school pics, I decided that you know what, I could probably take pics myself and just order the prints I wanted online, so that is what we did. So on our "Picture Day" I put a cowboy vest on Logan that my mom had made for Noah, well he did not like wearing that vest he wanted to wear "his" vest, so he said he could not smile cuz that vest makes him sad, so I snapped a bunch of pics with the vest that I wanted him to wear and then put on the vest he wanted to wear, can you see the change?

So that is my Logan news, now on to Noah, Today he comes up to me and says that he knows how he can make lots of money when he gets older, But he says it is kind of bad so I don't want to tell you, (I'm thinking oh great, my son is already thinking about robbing a bank or some criminal act like that) so I ask What Way are you gonna make a lot of money? He says, "well when you and dad die, I will get all your money"lol
I tried to explain debt and 7 brothers and sisters but I don' think He got it!~grin~

You may wonder "why the cowboy suits" Well Grandma gave them to the boys for Christmas and ever since I can't get them to wear anything else unless they are dirty so I figured I might as well do their Pictures in them, plus I think they look pretty cute as cowboys. Mackenzie doesn't like the whole wearing cowboy boots as dress shoes thing so she told Logan, "Uncle Matt doesn't wear cowboy boots, so Logan decided to wear his dress shoes instead" Yes he still thinks the world of "his uncle Matt"

Mia will be on the Monitor for a while longer, her test came back abnormal and she had an alarm the other night so, Praise The Lord for "modern technology" She is doing well, of course we all think she is cute but boy is she spoiled, and sometimes, well that is not too cute. She had a blow out last night for Aunt Sileena, but I will let her tell you about that one~smile~

Hello to all my bloggie friends, I have missed you! I am having problems with my Internet so I haven't been online very much lately.

Christmas was great, we had a blessed time as a family and spending time with my Parents and My two little brothers and my sister-n-law (whom you all know, I think) ~smile ~and of course my beautiful little nieces! Logan's best friend is his cousin Grace and Levi loves to be with Kaylyn, he thinks she is the most beautiful girl there is, and Hailey loves to spend time with Ciarra and of course Cuppy is just so adorable everyone just loves to hug and kiss her, when she will let them!

I was pretty stressed about where I was gonna find room for every ones new stuff so after the big day, I spent a day and a half going through old stuff and getting rid of it. My two oldest had a big surprise on Christmas Eve when Grandma brought out bunches of designer clothing from a family in their church. I can't even tell you how excited they were, what a huge blessing! So they had a lot of clothes to get rid of.

Because of all the "stuff" we had to do, it seemed like the time with my Parents was way too short! They stayed in their house and we stayed in the empty lot next to their house. What a blessing when they found out they found some renters, that worked out perfect!

We are now back at the Steves house, they are so generous to allow us to stay on their property. Chris is also teaching Justina to cook, and that has been a big blessing for Me and Justina, of course the family has benefited by the meals that they have cooked for all of us!

We have enjoyed being back in "our Church" It is a blessing to be with the teens, we do have a heart for our youth group, it has been a blessing for Jon to get to speak to them and to see the great job that the workers are doing. Jon has also had the opportunity to preach two Wednesdays since our Pastor is out of town. We also sang last Wednesday. We are excited to get back to "Our Ministry" Please pray that we can get our meetings booked up for the Year.

The kids are all doing Well, of course it seems that there are ALWAYS some adjustments that have to be made living in an RV and the one right now is we need to create another bed for Hailey, We have Ideas of what we want to do but we need to put those Ideas into action.

Mia had the test done to see if she is going to get off the monitor but she had 3 or 4 alarms while we were doing the test sooooo I doubt that she will get off the monitor. She is doing so well, she has a tooth poking through, she weighs 13 lbs now and she is 5 mos old, that is a record for one of our kids. She is spoiled, I have to admit! I might have had something to do with that but so did her Dad and 7 brother and Sisters~grin~

I had some stories to tell over the past couple of months but I just can't think of them now and the ones that I do remember Well I don't have the time to tell you about them now. So until then..................................................
